The Itinerary " Val d'Orcia " will guide you through the most important and spectacular sites of the Val d' Orcia. Starting from the hotel, along the highway Cassia , the first place to visit is the Abbey of St. Antimo , Romanesque gem and mystical place nestled among the hills at the foot of Mount Amiata.
It continues to Montalcino . Despite Montalcino is within commuting between the hotel and the Abbey is preferable to visit the Abbey before returning to the Brunello's Town later. Montalcino is a very quaint little town known for the production of Brunello . You will be able to visit the historic center and also to linger in one of the many nearby Cellars to taste wine and oil.
The route continues towards Pienza , a small jewel and greater artistic importance of the Val d'Orcia , famous , from the gastronomic point of view , for its pecorino cheese.
The trip ends in Montepulciano , the largest town in the path where the Middle Ages and Renaissance merge.
